Happy Anniversary to Shadeville Elementary!

Celebrating 100 years in education and 20 years in our 'new' building! Pictures and more information coming soon!

November 13, 2009 marked the 20th anniversary of our move to our current facility and we are also celebrating 100 years of education being provided by Shadeville in its various forms. Education programs first began at the site of the old Shadeville (now WEC) in 1909 and later evolved into the Shadeville School which served students up through high school. In 1968, Wakulla High was opened and Shadeville became an elementary school serving kindergarten through 5th grade students. Shadeville's current location was brand new and ready to go in November of 1989. We have a lot of current faculty and staff that still remember that crazy move over a Veterans' Day weekend!
