Our History
November 13, 2009 marked the 20th anniversary of our move to our current facility and we also celebrated 100 years of education being provided by Shadeville School in its various forms. Education programs first began at the site of the old Shadeville (now WEC) in 1909 and later evolved into the Shadeville School which served students up through high school. In 1968, Wakulla High was opened and Shadeville became an elementary school serving kindergarten through 5th grade students. Shadeville Elementary's current location was brand new and ready to go in November of 1989.
